Just like it’s not every day you get married, it’s not every day your living room gets turned into a vintage 1920’s speakeasy. Gill Boyd from RED Events took this amazing Real Bridal Shower to the next level and created an entire room transformation using rental and decor from RED Events. Filled with sexy details, guests were asked to dress up in their best 1920’s attire and were encouraged to dance on tables and do the Charleston until dawn! Meghan Elizabeth Photography dropped in on the fun and caught everything on film – we can’t get enough of these details!

The shower was inspired by the bride’s classic look and style. I wanted to create a unique and elegant shower that was a conversation piece in itself, giving all the guests something to talk about to break the ice as hardly anyone had met before. Having the guests come in costume created an exciting festive atmosphere which I think helped to loosen everyone up and contribute to an amazing night. We tried to incorporate the theme in to the appetizer menu choosing finger foods that were served in the 1920s. A soulful jazz playlist was made to keep everyone in the mood.
