1.     Low maintenance potted succulents make unique and beautiful centerpieces, as well asadorable gifts for your guests.

2.     Spring bulbs or seedlings make lovely favoursand they will bloom in commemoration of your wedding year after year.

3.     If you are having your wedding in a warmclimate, keep a spray bottle on hand to mist your blooms and keep them moist inthe heat.

4.     Avoid planning your wedding just before St. Valentine ‘s Day or Mother’s day, as flowers are in high demandat these times of the year and are typically more expensive for this reason.

5.     Consider the climate of your wedding whenchoosing your flowers. For example, some flowers such as Gardenia’s will wiltand discolour in hot weather, whereas orchids are far moreresilient.

6.     If you, or a friend, have decided to make yourown floral arrangements, choose flowers with a longer lasting bloom. This willbuy you a little extra time to experiment, and give you the opportunity tocreate your arrangements a day or two before the event.
