Beautiful Rocky Mountain Engagement Photos from Erin Shepley Photography

Wedding photographs tell a truly unique story, the story of your wedding day, and that encompasses so many different elements.  There will be formal portraits with family; there will be candid moments; there will be tears wiped out of eyes at the alter and crazy dance moves on the dance floor.  You will be dressed to the nines, in front of dozens (if not hundreds!) of people, and you'll be committing to a lifetime of love, intimacy, and friendship with your partner. It is a lot to photograph and a lot to take in.

Your engagement photographs, however, are an entirely different experience. This is an opportunity to let your true self flourish  – while you'll share moments of intimacy on your wedding day, it's during your engagement session that you can be entirely natural, candid, and relaxed while your photographer captures the essence of your love. Calgary wedding photographer Erin Shepley Photography bases her entire style and photography philosophy on the premise that to capture the most beautiful and authentic photographs, she lets you ultimately be yourself and leave everything to her. It comes with trust and confidence in her keen artistic eye and her commitment to ensuring your experience with her is easy, comfortable, and fun. Erin has a beautiful sense of photographing moments of love, and today on the blog, we're so excited to share some of her favourite Calgary engagement photographs!

From Erin Shepley:

Engagement sessions are one of my favourite things to photograph. I love the excitement of newly engaged couples and seeing and documenting their connection. Engagement sessions are also an awesome way to learn how we work together before your wedding day.

This collection of engagement images are some of my favourites from past sessions. I love to take couples to places where they spend a lot of time together and feel the most connected. My style is very natural, relaxed and fun and that's how I want you to feel during the session!
