Boutique Wedding Market: This Weekend!

Mmmm leisurely weekend wedding planning – there are two types of wedding planning on the weekend, the run-around-hit-all-the-meetings-get-it-all-done weekends and then the leisurely ones. The ones where you spend your morning sipping a coffee, cruising Etsy and your favourite blogs, doodling sketches of your dream tablescapes or wedding hair. You know the ones I’m talking about.

Maybe it’s time to take that laissez faire latte and hit the road – experience some relaxed, warm and community minded wedding planning for real. This weekend is the first Boutique Wedding Market. Founded by Jessica of Kismet and Clover and Ginni of by.Ginni, this is a boutique wedding planning experience with a community minded feel. Inspired by the incredible popular Market Collective, this is an intimate wedding showcase with a collaborative and artistic approach, aimed at promoting local artisans and what amazing wears and talents they bring to Calgary weddings.

Featuring 11 unique vendors (see below photos for listing), including Calgary Bride feature vendor Veden Woman, this is a warm and homey wedding showcase that will feature live music, a flower crown workhop and the opportunity to chat and understand more about these exhibits. Jessica and Ginni are all about the family and community feel of this weekend’s event – the mandate is focused on supporting, encouraging and collaborating with local talent while providing brides with that handmade, one of a kind wedding services that they’re looking for.

Boutique Wedding Market is happening Saturday, April 26 from 10 -6pm and Sunday, April 27 from 11 – 5pm at 1412 1 Street SW, between 12 Avenue and 17 Avenue.
