Inspired by the beloved yet short Edmonton summers, this styled shoot highlights the beauty of celebrating outdoors. Utilizing the "backyard" space of the Old Timer's Cabin, the stunning downtown and river valley backdrop was the perfect setting to bring this collective together to create a colourful and effortless outdoor picnic wedding.
Styled in an alternative two piece gown and a laid back suit look with shorts, we opted for an understated pairing highlighting summer days and personal style. Utilizing pops of coral (Pantone's colour of the year!) and yellow, it provided a modern touch to pop among the curated selection of food.
Summers cue eating outside and we wanted to draw attention to the alternative wedding food options with a one of a kind cupcake bouquet, grazing table, and playful donuts to create an informal and cozy atmosphere.
