From the Creative Team:
This Halloween, we embraced the enchanting and eerie with a Gothic Bride-inspired styled shoot at the historic Morland Place in Owen Sound, Ontario. The majestic, timeworn architecture of Morland Place set the perfect scene for our vision—a haunting yet romantic bridal aesthetic that melds mystery with elegance.

With wedding season in full swing, it can be challenging to carve out time for pure creative projects. Yet, I always strive to refresh my inspiration and collaborate with friends and local vendors on something uniquely magical. This session became that spark for me, and watching the entire team pour their hearts into it was incredible.

Brianna curated the wardrobe, pulling together pieces that felt as if they’d stepped out of a vintage Gothic fairytale. Emma and Alex took the lead on makeup and florals, designing looks and arrangements that played beautifully into the dark romance of the theme. The florals added a striking contrast to the venue’s old-world charm, blending dried foliage and deep-hued blooms that echoed the essence of the Gothic Bride.

What started as a small idea in my mind transformed into a stunning visual narrative that exceeded every expectation. The shoot was more than just a session; it was a reminder of the beauty and artistry that can emerge when creative minds come together. It left me recharged and inspired, ending the season with a satisfying sense of accomplishment and a spark of Halloween magic.
