Snowy winter days have us dreaming of cranberry reds and evergreens. Are you planning a winter wedding? Here are a few holiday wedding must-haves for our 2022 and 2023 brides:
- A signature holiday cocktail. Maybe we are suckers for any kind of creative menu item, but signature drinks are so much fun.
- Seasonal fruits are incorporated in the table decor. Here we see fresh citrus with the grapefruits and natural gemstones with the pomegranates.
- The cozy factor. This wedding checks this off the list with fuzzy fur seat covers, elegant candlesticks, and a roaring fireplace.
From the Creative Team
The inspiration for this shoot came from the desire to create a holiday design taking the traditional colours of red and green, and elevating them to create a bright and elegant holiday affair. This was achieved by incorporating evergreen and pine cones with a twist in the form of pomegranates and citrus fruit into the tablescape, crystal candle holders and custom stationery combined with the brightness of the Flores and Pine space. Some of our favourite elements were the stunning live wall ceremony backdrop, Christmas ornaments used as place cards, and the bouquet made of silk and real flowers to withstand the cold winters of Alberta, and fur seat covers.
