Set in the Hangar Flight Museum in Calgary, Alberta, this industrial aviation-inspired wedding showcase unfolds amidst historic aircraft. A visually striking narrative seamlessly blended love and aviation history with a classic industrial feel. Collaborating with the events team at the Hangar Flight Museum provided a warm and welcoming experience. This venue is an exceptional and photo-ready space! This space supports weddings, non-profit events, and corporate functions year-round.

With a commitment to design events that inspire connection and conscientious collaboration Matters of Gathering proves that the sky’s the limit! When it comes to wedding planning and design, they show that there are no boundaries. Matters of Gathering collaborated with local Calgary businesses to craft an elegant love story that pays homage to aviation history.

Drawing inspiration from the aircraft’s rich primary yellow and royal blue, the colour palette set the tone. Industrial grey metal chairs and a silver matte satin table linen harmonized with the grey cement flooring. Together, they create an atmosphere that transports guests to an airplane runway.

Red-Fox Multi-Media contributed an airplane-themed invitation suite, featuring realistic passport invitations, boarding pass RSVPs, and luggage tag save-the-dates. In-flight meal menu cards added a sense of anticipation for the aviation-themed adventure.

The couple’s attire matched the classic and timeless airplanes. The groom wore a classic black suit and tie from TIP TOP Tailors and the bride wore a flowing minimalist gown with a royal train. The flowing fabric under the vintage luggage framed the altar with elegance. The posey-sized bouquet allowed the wedding gown to make a statement.
