I often feel incredibly fortunate as a Canadian. Our county is a melting pot of cultures, traditions and identities, with people from all over the world bringing their heritage to our doorstep. Today's Inspired Shoot from The Art of Beauty showcases a bride who embraces both her traditional culture and Western trends.
Many modern brides take pride, joy and pleasure in creating weddings that are a fusion of their heritage and modern Western wedding trends, with incredible fashions and meaningful traditions.
Here's what Lyana Gilbert from The Art of Beauty had to say about this shoot:
We took one model and created traditional Korean bridal look for her with a little bit of face art design that uses patterns that are more western in nature (like a blend of west and east) and another look that is purely western in nature (classic white dress, some sparkling jewelleries and very natural makeup). The result of this editorial was exciting; the same model looked totally different. It was lots of fun for everybody participated.
