From the photographer:

Romantic, Organic, Authentic:
A summer afternoon in the lush flower gardens at Birchwood Meadows seemed an ideal settling to capture candid moments between engaged couple Zana & Josh. Starting amongst the u-pick flowers, the lovers strolled through the raised beds, harvesting a pail of locally grown flowers and sneaking an occasional kiss and embrace. Styled casually giving a nod to their love of rural life, their dynamic energy was palpable. A moody overcast sky and intermittent drizzle didn’t hinder our couple from cozying up under a clear umbrella. After concluding the picking of flowers, they kicked off their shoes and socks to wander through the muddy cut flower field settling in the middle of the flowers to share a romantic picnic. Prosecco, artisan desserts from Duchess Bake Shop, and fruit were not only delicious additions but added a rich vibrancy to compliment a collection of mismatched pillows and small floral arrangements as if Josh had stumbled across the prime location to surprise his fiance. Keeping the moments personal and authentic, Zana and Josh explored the rows of flowers alternating from holding a bounty of sunflowers, brimming basket of recently harvested blossoms and holding hands. With a moody sky in the background it was a perfect bookend to a early evening of connection and love on the farm.
