From the Creative Team
When clients think about weddings they either think about large weddings at traditional wedding venues or eloping at a scenic destination. We wanted to showcase something a little different, so we chose a local greenhouse and a garden as our venue. While Hastings Lake is a used traditionally for wedding ceremonies we showcased another side of it. Creating a very special day for our bride and groom, who were actually celebrating their 2nd marriage anniversary and brought us to tears when they renewed their vows.
Our wedding planner, Cassy @cassidybrookeevents brought in vintage romantic vibes as we wanted the elopement to be small intimate and showcase an affordable setting. The name cards were hand crafted and made out of a broken garden pot, most of the florals were dried and could be used again, a small wooden 6 person table and a charcuterie board crafted from a local vendor, all helped set the mood. I can honestly say a greenhouse never looked so good!
We pulled a lot of warm typically fall toned colours and paired them with some more muted versions making it a beautiful colour scheme for any season! Do your wedding your way, don’t worry about the current trends, fads and traditions, its your day and it will be beautiful. It doesn’t matter how many people are at your wedding, it’s truly just about you and your love!
