As we look hopefully into 2021 and future years when we can all gather again, we are reminded of some of the positive things that 2020 brought to the wedding community (yes, there are a few!).
Though it was tough to see through the stress of postponements and downsized weddings, we’ve come to find beauty in quality over quantity, and in gathering our nearest and dearest to celebrate in love and in style. These times allow us to spend more individual time with our closest loved ones, provide even more exceptional food and drink choices, and elaborate on the design elements of an event like the florals and extra frills.
This micro-wedding is built around the concept that, moving forward, celebrations still look a bit different, and beautiful details are something worth focusing on.
At the ceremony, each socially-distanced group has an assigned lounge, complete with drinks, charcuterie board and florals. Here guests can safely experience the ceremony, participate in toasts, and enjoy beautiful food and drink.
Post ceremony, there’s a bouncy house (instead of large mosh-pit style dancing, why not a private bounce in the house with your loved one?). Drinks at a circular bar allow for further togetherness, and all the pretty little details of the day add up to one exceptional experience.
Finally, a balloon install rises into the sky representing a pillar of bright hope for the future and remembrance of the fact that in hard times, we can get creative and rise above.
