Filled with lavenders, deep teals and the natural beauty of a snow covered tree farm, it is irresistible! The gown the bride wears in this shoot is giving us shivers, it's so pretty. With the stressful demands of planning a traditional wedding, the industry is seeing a lot more couples deciding to elope; these are the couples who chose to enjoy every minute of their day at a slower pace, in line with their own values and rich with intention and meaning – so we wanted to show case the simplicity of an elopement at the beautiful Rare Earth Tree Farm near Edmonton, Alberta.
Jaden and Deiter are a real couple, planning their own tropical destination wedding this upcoming year – so they jumped at the chance of modelling for this styled Canadian winter elopement. These two were a dream couple to work with considering it was -30 Celsius on the day we met up, and they never stopped smiling and laughing. The beautiful blush tulle gown by Hayley Paige found its perfect contrast against the green trees and fresh white snow that was softly falling around us during the entirety of the styled shoot.
Each member of the vendor list was part of the planning, all working together for weeks before hand to create something unique, soft and beautiful; showcasing that really any dream style of elopement is achievable and that ultimately a couples wedding day should be about them, and they should do exactly what they want.
