A Modern Boho Celebration

We had the absolute pleasure of working on Keara and Luke’s modern boho wedding at Meadow Muse Pavilion in Calgary. The couple recruited our team to assist with design as well as wedding day management, and we loved bringing their vision to life. Keara and Luke wished for boho yet modern decor to create their wedding aesthetic, which was right up our alley!

The ceremony was held outdoors in the picturesque green space. Light bentwood chairs lined the aisle, leading up to a double triangle arch that was the backdrop for their vows. The arch was adorned with pampas grass and a stunning floral arrangement. It featured neutral-toned roses and baby’s breath. It created an effortlessly romantic ambiance. Neutral florals also lined the aisle, adding a soft and whimsical touch to the setting.

Following the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration moved into the tented reception, where Keara and Luke’s vision truly came to life. During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed mingling near a gorgeous photo op wall from Flowerwalls YYC. It added a fun and interactive element to the event. Inside the tent, eye-catching details awaited the guests, showcasing a perfect blend of boho and modern styles. Rattan charger plates paired beautifully with 70s-inspired table numbers, while touches of gold in the flatware and glassware added a sleek, contemporary edge. The terracotta and blush florals added warmth and vibrancy, perfectly balancing the neutral tones used throughout the decor.

Additional personalized touches, like the couple’s custom signage and a curated playlist, made the day feel uniquely theirs. The couple’s first dance beneath the romantic string lights was a highlight, creating a magical moment that encapsulated the love and joy shared by everyone present.

The perfectly combined vibrant colours, heartfelt details, and unforgettable moments made this one of our favourite designs this summer. We couldn’t be more honoured to have been part of Keara and Luke’s incredible day.
