Set at the enchanting Willow Garden Farm in Abbotsford, this romantic September wedding was a heartfelt celebration of love, family, and the beauty of locally grown flowers. Surrounded by lush gardens, vineyard rows, and the golden softness of early autumn, Ilar and Na’im created a day that felt deeply personal. It was an intentional gathering of their closest people in a setting that reflected both ease and meaning.
Their celebration carried a natural warmth throughout, shaped by connection, joy, and a shared appreciation for the land around them. Every part of the day felt grounded in place, allowing the landscape itself to become an essential part of the story.
Garden-Gown Florals Inspired by Late Summer
Floral design was at the heart of the visual story, with an emphasis on seasonality and local abundance. Most of the blooms were grown directly at Willow Garden Farm or sourced from nearby growers, creating a truly garden-to-table floral experience.
The colour palette drew from the late-summer garden in transition. Dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, garden roses, hops, and amaranth came together in abundant, textured arrangements that felt airy, organic, and full of movement.
Designed in a loose, garden-gathered style, the florals never felt overly structured. Instead, they echoed the surrounding landscape which was romantic, slightly wild, and effortlessly cohesive with the season.

A Ceremony Framed by Climbing Blooms
The ceremony took place beneath a romantic arbour wrapped in climbing roses and clematis, creating an intimate, garden-rich setting for Ilar and Na’im’s vows. The floral structure softened the space beautifully, blending seamlessly into the surrounding greenery and vineyard views.
Guests were seated within the garden itself, surrounded by blooming textures and natural light. The atmosphere felt serene and unforced, allowing the emotion of the moment to take centre stage while nature framed every detail.

A Vineyard Reception Beneath the Stars
Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a reception set in the heart of the farm, nestled between flower beds and vineyard rows. A clear tent allowed the landscape to remain ever-present, blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors as daylight shifted into evening.
As the sun set, the gardens glowed softly around the celebration, and the vineyard rows became part of the evening’s atmosphere. The design encouraged long conversations, shared laughter, and a sense of ease that carried late into the night.

A Celebration Rooted in Season and Place
Every detail of the day reflected a deep respect for seasonality, locality, and thoughtful simplicity. From the garden-grown florals to the open, nature-forward setting, the wedding felt intimately connected to its surroundings.
Most of all, it was a celebration of togetherness, and the wider community gathered around them. At Willow Garden Farm, that sense of connection felt effortless, held gently by the beauty of the land itself.
