Manpreet and Yakin’s wedding was a tale of love and tradition! This couple decided to pay homage to both their Sikh and Hindu heritage with not one, but two remarkable wedding celebrations. Join me as I reminisce about the enchanting moments from these unforgettable two days.

Day 1: A Sikh Wedding at Meridian Banquets

The weekend commenced with a vibrant Sikh wedding celebration held at the picturesque Meridian Banquets in Edmonton. The venue was adorned with a myriad of colourful decorations that created the perfect backdrop for the day’s festivities. Manpreet was the embodiment of radiance in her traditional red lehenga, while Yakin looked absolutely dashing in his Sikh attire.

The Sikh wedding ceremony was nothing short of a soul-stirring experience. As Manpreet and Yakin circled the holy scripture, their love and devotion radiated from them. The room was infused with an aura of spirituality and love. I had the privilege of capturing every tear, every smile, and every heartfelt moment.

Day 2: A Hindu Wedding at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald

The second day of festivities unfolded at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. The venue added an extra layer of grandeur to the Hindu wedding evening! The opulent decor and breathtaking views served as a stunning backdrop to the occasion.

Manpreet and Yakin’s Hindu wedding was a true feast for the senses. Manpreet looked ethereal in her red and gold bridal attire, and the intricate henna designs adorning her hands were nothing short of a masterpiece. The ceremony seamlessly blended traditions, from the vivacious Sangeet dance performances to the sacred rituals around the holy fire.
