Breathtaking Outdoor Wedding

Cristy and Ken’s outdoor wedding in Spruce Meadow was truly breathtaking, from the fresh cut green grass to the circular archway covered with gorgeous flowers!

We loved how Cristy and Ken planned a first look before their ceremony. It was a touching moment where they could privately share their feelings and emotions with one another before the busy day began. It’s a simple but powerful gesture that adds a lot of depth and meaning to the wedding day. For the outdoor ceremony at Spruce Meadows, the couple’s adorable pup, Coco, stole the show as the flower girl and walked down the aisle with Ken.

The mountains are super important to Cristy and Ken, so we ventured to Cobble Flats in Kananaskis for their photoshoot. It was a beautiful summer day in the mountains with the little streams running along the rocky paths and fresh summer flowers. Ken made a spontaneous decision to carry Cristy across the creek. It had us all in fits of laughter!

The wedding reception at The Carriage House Inn was beautifully set up by Events Manager Lino Savino. It was wonderful to see the couple’s vision come to life. The reception was full of candid, natural moments, which we love to capture.

Being a part of Cristy and Ken’s special day was truly an honour. It’s these kinds of experiences that remind us why we love being wedding photographers. We have no doubt that Cristy and Ken will continue to have a beautiful life together, and we wish them all the happiness in the world.
