Loving the Modern Burgundy in this Saskatchewan Valley Wedding

All great love stories start in a gravel pit. Rheed and Chantelle met in a gravel pit party a few years back near their hometowns in Saskatchewan. Fast forward a couple years later, these two are tying the knot. The sun was shining and the warm wind was winding through the Saskatchewan prairies. By definition, a perfect wedding day.

The girls were getting dolled up and laughing with amongst each other. The guys were sharing laughs while having a few drink to calm their nerves. The ceremony location sat perched up on a hill over looking the wheat fields laying under blue skies. Rheed and Chantelle vowed to take on the world with each other and sealed it with a kiss. The next few hours were spent in a relaxed and love filled environment with the happily married couple, and their wedding party. We popped champagne, and hung out taking photos until it was time to head back to the reception.

Signature drinks, cupcakes, and good food are the recipe to an awesome reception. The night ended with dancing, drinking and most importantly being surrounded by the people who meant the most to them.

Being able to shoot couple’s who you are able to laugh with and you feel like best friends by the end of the day, lights my soul are fire. It’s a privilege to be able to give clients a memorable day and after the fact giving them a story in pictures.
