Wednesdays were made for Rocky Mountain weddings, and we’re so excited to share Elena and Vasili’s mountain top wedding photographed by Brendan Nogue Photography! Elena’s wedding day style is sweet and romantic, with an A-line gown that has a bodice covered in intricate embellishments. We are also al over her swept back low chignon and the sparkling hair piece she accented it with.
The wedding ceremony focussed on the beauty of the peaks in the Rocky Mountain view, but the pink florals and clear lacquer backdrop gave it a modern touch that we are all over. Hear more from the photographer, see more wedding decor details and meet the entire Creative Team after the jump!

Elena and Vasili’s mountain top wedding at Kicking Horse Resort in Golden, BC was nothing short of amazing! Blue skies, smoky mountain peaks, spectacular lodge and, of course, a crowd of partying Russian wedding guests!
We started the day by taking a gondola ride to the very top of Kicking Horse Resort to the Eagle Eye restaurant where Elena got ready. This was followed by a sunny, blue sky ceremony on the mountain top.
The reception was filled with games and Russian traditions that had the guests laughing, dancing and drinking well before the sun was even down! I feel like there are a few games and traditions that should be borrowed for all weddings! This was followed by Elena and Vasili’s beautifully done first dance as the sun set over the mountains.
Then it was all partying the night away! Elena and Vasili are such a deeply in love couple and they have the support of so many caring family members I know they will have a fantastic life together!
