Romantic Rustic Countryside Wedding

Who else is in the mood for a little countryside romance? Nick and Kate’s rustic wedding took place in Caledon, Ontario, and is full of sweet and warm details. For their colours, the couple choose neutral tones and sparked them with deep burgundy hues in floral arrangements and decor details like linen. Kate, our Real Bride, wore a gorgeous modern gown with all the right embellishments to give it a touch of dazzle. Kate has an absolutely infectious smile – hear more from the planner and meet the entire Creative Team after the jump!

From the planner:

Kate and Nick chose to host their intimate autumn wedding at The Caledon Riding and Hunt Club, a spot for family events and partly founded by Nick’s Grandparents. Surrounded by 70 of their closest family and friends and 2 dogs “Tucker” and “Ziggy” Kate and Nick said “I do” (twice). A highway closure resulted in their Officiant being 45 minutes late to the wedding. Not wanting to miss a single moment, Nick’s Step Father, Paul, stepped in and performed a beautiful, short and sweet ceremony. The actual officiant arrived during Family photos and Nick and Kate had a second (legally binding) ceremony in front of their guests-again. Kate was escorted down the aisle (twice) by her Mother, Wendy, as Kate’s Father had passed away from cancer 3 years prior. Kate and Nick hand picked each vendor and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to to make this celebration amazing.  This intimate and easy celebration started off with the couple hanging out in the morning and meeting later in the afternoon at a friend’s farm for their First Look and Bridal Party photos (including Kate’s horse, Riley). Their day was perfect and they ended the night by late night Jamaican Pattys and thanking their guests for celebrating their first and second weddings with them.
