This editorial was created to reimagine what a micro wedding can truly feel like—intimate, daring, and deeply rooted in culture. Set inside Reunion Bistro, a globally inspired restaurant in Morriston, Ontario, the space itself became our muse. From layered textures to vibrant pops of colour, every detail encouraged guests to linger, savour, and celebrate. The atmosphere struck that perfect balance between cozy and elevated—exactly the kind of space that transforms a small gathering into something spectacular.

The Heart Behind the Lens

Our couple, Chelsea and Gareth, are real-life partners, and their connection brought an unmistakable authenticity to the day. Every glance, laugh, and touch felt genuine—captured moments that radiated warmth and love. Their natural chemistry grounded the shoot in reality, infusing the editorial with a sense of intimacy that can’t be staged.

A Design Inspired by Global Influence

The creative direction pulled inspiration from Reunion Island, Morocco, and Southeast Asia, weaving together a vibrant fusion of colour, texture, and energy. Tropical botanicals met modern, sculptural design elements, creating a visual story that was both artful and unexpected.
Rich jewel tones, layered textiles, and a moody supper-club atmosphere gave the dinner setting a cinematic quality—a space where every plate, candle, and petal felt intentionally placed and emotionally charged.
