Who says you need 50 people to make a wedding?! Who says you need to wear white?! Who says you need to celebrate love only on February 14th?!

We want to share with you, the DO YOU kinda I DO! All about Love. A celebration where everything is less than ‘ordinary’.

Ivory Embers, a Langley Photographer who believes in worldly energies, the cosmos, celebrates True Honest Love with good humans. A believer that love has no boundaries, sees no gender, sees no race, just real electric connections.

And those were the sparks that fueled the day.

Julie from BasketKase Creations reached out to me (Ivory Embers) because she believed in my aesthetic. The raw and true values of supporting people for who they are. We came together with a vision of romantic deep red roses, a black lace gown, and featuring a couple surviving through Covid. We knew we wanted to show LOVE.

What we didn’t plan for was Heaven drizzling it’s icy confetti the night before! We were gifted a day of snow, fog, and a whole lotta chilly, and celebrated the heck out of it! Ivory Embers boasts, ya gotta roll with the Bipolar B.C. Weather! EMBRACE THE MAGIC! It was -7 and our babes, Lyric and Gi, decorated with goosebumps and chattering teeth, were all smiles in sharing their warmed hearts with us.

Lyric had her hair and makeup styled by BeFlawless Beauty. Earthy makeup with a statement twinkly eye featuring a soft lip, some effortless braids and curls, which all was perfectly imperfect with the damp brisk air. She rocked a delicate black sparkle lace dress from Ivory Embers Client Closet, which was accessorized with a romantic floral crowned wool hat by BasketKase, and her ears adorned with dangling clay heart shaped black earrings handmade by a local jeweler Jewels and Foxy. Gi kept things simple in wearing all his own attire. We kept things gently sustainable to showcase you don’t need to spend a fortune to feel awe-inspiring on your day. To make their day extra special just to them, and how Ivory Embers cheers on, DO YOU! we celebrated by Shot-Gunning beers, accompanied by all the lovin’ snugglin’ and kissin’ galore! To commemorate the day, we did a smoke bomb send off with pink and purple clouds of love!

So ya who says you can’t celebrate love your way, any freakin’ day.
