From the Creative Team:
We are delighted to unveil the story behind “An Air of Italy and Lemons in Québec City” inspired by the romance of the Mediterranean and the charm of old-world summers. This shoot was designed to transport couples abroad, without ever leaving Quebec City.
This stylish concept was imagined to inspire couples to create a wedding that reflects their personalities and dreams, right at home. By infusing citrus tones, European textures, and warm golden light into a local setting, we brought a taste of Italy to the heart of Québec.
A Mediterranean Escape in the Heart of Quebec
The setting for this editorial was the models’ private courtyard, offering a breathtaking view of the river. The outdoor pool added a layer of effortless luxury, instantly evoking the ambiance of a seaside villa. Though firmly rooted in Québec, the atmosphere felt like a hidden retreat along the Mediterranean coast.
With the gentle breeze, the shimmer of water, and the golden reflections of late afternoon light, the entire scene captured the essence of a European summer — relaxed, luminous, and refined.

A Refined Palette Inspired by the South
The design was built around a soft and elegant colour story: creamy whites, sun-kissed lemon hues, and warm golden undertones. This refined palette allowed every element to feel cohesive and elevated, while maintaining an organic, natural softness.
Drawing inspiration from the warmth of the South of France and the romance of the Italian Riviera, the styling embraced natural textures and luminous details. Linen fabrics, delicate ceramics, fresh citrus, and flowing florals created a sensory experience reminiscent of a destination wedding by the water.

An Understated Yet Sophisticated Reception
The reception design continued this effortless aesthetic. Crisp white linens formed the base for abundant white florals, accented by fresh lemons scattered organically along the table. The citrus details added vibrancy without overwhelming the elegance of the setting.
As the sun began to set, candlelight intertwined with the golden hour glow, transforming the atmosphere into something intimate and elevated. The transition from daylight to dusk brought a softness that felt cinematic, a perfect balance between natural beauty and intentional design.

Fashion That Complements the Setting
The couple’s attire reflected the refined yet relaxed spirit of the shoot. The bride wore a structured yet airy lace gown, complete with a flowing train that moved gracefully in the evening breeze. The groom opted for a classic black tuxedo, creating a timeless contrast against the softness of the setting.
Their sunset portraits overlooking the water captured both modern sophistication and genuine emotion. It’s a visual reminder that true elegance lies in authenticity.

Effortless Luxury, Reimagined
This editorial celebrates a vision of effortless luxury, where thoughtful styling, natural beauty, and soft Mediterranean light exist in perfect harmony. It proves that a destination-inspired wedding doesn’t require a passport; with intention and creativity, couples can design an atmosphere that feels worlds away, right here in Québec.
“An Air of Italy and Lemons in Québec City” is an invitation to dream boldly, embrace personality-driven design, and transform familiar spaces into unforgettable experiences.
