This elevated rustic editorial shoot in downtown Vancouver was designed to blend the warmth and nostalgia of vintage aesthetics with a contemporary edge. The vision is centred around pairing modern styling details with the rich rustic textures of the winery space. It created an atmosphere that felt both timeless and refined. From the soft romantic tones to the layered natural elements, every detail was intentionally chosen to bring together old-world charm and modern sophistication.

The tablescape was designed to feel elevated, romantic, and deeply connected to the natural tones of the winery. It beautifully complemented the rustic textures of the space. Soft light green chargers layered beneath crisp white plates created a fresh and timeless contrast. Gold cutlery added a refined modern touch. The linens and earthy elements brought a subtle sense of luxury to the design. Every detail was intentionally curated to balance organic styling with contemporary elegance. It created a dining atmosphere that felt intimate, sophisticated, and effortlessly romantic.

Photographer Ryan Funk and planner Brittany Penn from Cassiopeia Social spearheaded the collaboration with a strong focus on creativity and community. They wanted to create an experience where every vendor involved could fully showcase their individual artistry and unique perspective. Each contributor was encouraged to incorporate personal touches into the design. It allowed the shoot to feel organic, collaborative, and deeply inspired.
