10 Easy Ways To Make Your Valentine’s More Pretty: Romantic Valentine’s Day Inspiration

The timing of Valentine’s Day this year puts a little smile on my face – is it coincidence that it’s the Sunday after the Super Bowl or is it just me? The Super Bowl seems like the day just for Him – where he sits on the couch with his dirty socks on the table and screams blue bloody murder at the screen. And if you’re anything like me, you get in on the fun (because it is crazy fun!). But after the score has been tallied and the nachos crumbs cleaned up, it’s nice to switch gears a little, right? Going from beers, high fives and surround sound stereos to something a little more romantic is a nice balance to the month.

If it’s pretty you want, it’s pretty we’ve got. A major collection of local pros came together to produce a shoot for the bride who’s yearning for a romantic, feminine Valentine’s Day. Photographed by Tara Whittaker Photographer, here’s a round up of 10 perfect ways to make your Valentine’s Day just a little more pretty.

1. Candlelight We used brass lanterns, flickering lights and loose greens to set the tone.

2. Seal it with a kiss Our invitation suite included a heart motif, a mix of patterns and a wax seal.

3. Look good, feel good The bride wore a boho-style mini dress with pleats and a keyhole back.

4. Pull your hair back so your eyes can shine Her hair was fashioned into loose, sideswept waves held in place by a sparkling hairband.

5. Love In Bloom She carried loose, unstructured blooms with a eucalyptus and red winter tulips.

6. Show off a little leg Pretty floral pumps completed the look

7. Safe and sound A keepsake ring box holds her engagement ring
