On an October day, in Toronto, Ontario, we had the privilege of capturing Sarah and Mamoon’s modern romantic wedding. Their journey began with a sweet engagement in August 2021. It was followed by meticulous planning to craft a day that reflected their love story just right. As the sun painted the city, Sarah and Mamoon exchanged vows surrounded by timeless black and ivory accents. It was a beautiful testament to their shared vision of modern romance.

The day unfolded with unforgettable moments, starting with preparations at the Toronto Markham Marriott. Then they ventured to the stunning Aga Khan Museum for an intimate first look and charming bridal party portraits. The journey continued at The Glasshouse Studio for family portraits. Then transitioned to the grand finale at the Parkview Manor, where anticipation mingled with joy as guests awaited the couple’s arrival.

Beyond the joy of their union, Sarah and Mamoon’s wedding was a beautiful tapestry of cultural fusion, honoring their Iranian, Scottish, and Lebanese heritage. Every detail spoke volumes about their commitment to weaving their backgrounds into a seamless blend of traditions. From the electrifying entrance led by an Arabic Zaffe ensemble, complete with sparklers and rhythmic drumbeats, to the performance by local Scottish dancers, the evening was a vibrant mosaic of shared heritage!

One of the most poignant moments came with the traditional Persian knife dance, a symbol of unity and family bonds. As Sarah’s sisters and cousins twirled with the ceremonial knife, Mamoon waited to reclaim it. This symbolizes the couple’s readiness to embark on this journey together.
