Jessica and Brandon have always believed that love is an adventure. Their wedding weekend in the Canadian Rockies was a beautiful reflection of that belief.

From the very beginning of their relationship, the two had dreamed of travelling to the Canadian Rockies together. So when it came time to celebrate their marriage, there was something incredibly meaningful about returning to the mountains they had once imagined exploring together. Fairmont Banff Springs became the perfect setting for a wedding that felt both deeply personal and undeniably grand.

A Fairytale Wedding in the Mountains

The day began at the historic Fairmont Banff Springs, often referred to as a castle in the mountains. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Jessica and Brandon exchanged vows as the sound of live violins filled the air. They had hired a live string band for the occasion, adding an elegant, romantic soundtrack to the beginning of their marriage.

Jessica and Brandon tied the knot surrounded by towering mountain views, timeless architecture, and the people who mattered most to them.

Maroon, Gold, and Mountain Elegance

Jessica had carefully created an intentional mood board for the wedding, drawing inspiration from rich, romantic colours like maroon and gold. The palette was a timeless match for the historic character of Banff Springs. It perfectly complemented the surrounding mountains while bringing warmth and depth to the celebration.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a vision that blended old-world romance with the luxurious beauty of the Canadian Rockies. With the help of wedding planner Chelsea Townsend of Coco and Ash, that vision was brought to life.

Nothing felt accidental. From the colour palette to the atmosphere, each element reflected their personalities and their shared love of travel, beauty, and adventure.

From Wedding Elegance to Rocky Mountain Adventure

The wedding day was only the beginning.

The following day, Jessica and Brandon traded the elegance of the castle for the rugged beauty of the mountains. They headed out for their couple’s portraits at the famous Moraine Lake.

Surrounded by dramatic peaks and the unforgettable turquoise waters, the setting offered a completely different side of their love story. Rather than keeping things perfectly posed, the couple leaned into the adventure. In true Jessica and Brandon fashion, decided to embrace a little spontaneity.

Then they jumped into the freezing cold water together.

With lifeguards on duty, the newlyweds took the plunge in their complete wedding attire, creating one of the most unexpected and unforgettable moments of the entire weekend. Lodge staff even confirmed that it was the first time they had ever seen a bride and groom in full wedding attire jump into the lake.

It was bold, playful, completely unexpected, and somehow perfectly them.

A Love Story Written in the Rockies
