From the Creative Team:
This is a real-life wedding, during a very unsettled time in life dealing with COVID-19. One thing remains certain though; Mark and Sarah’s love and devotion to each other. They were able to proceed with their vows and wedding ceremony on their original wedding date (April 18, 2020) surrounded by their immediate family, with plans for a reception next year to include more family and friends. Sarah did her own hair and makeup for the ceremony since she could not book a hair and makeup artist for her day. Even though plans had to be altered, Sarah and Mark made the very best of this special moment. They were able to livestream the ceremony to their friends and family abroad. Guests live streaming even dressed up at home and showed off their attire to the bride and groom when they greeted each other online. They were surprised by some close friends (originally guests and some wedding party members) outside the venue to cheer them on after they said I do. Mark and Sarah shared a sweet and exciting moment outside to wave hello to the guests for a distant curbside congratulations. It was an amazing afternoon for Sarah and Mark to celebrate becoming husband and wife because even during these times, love is essential.
