Brandon and I decided to elope in the beautiful mountains of Banff, Alberta. We chose to elope not only because of the unprecedented circumstances going on in the world right now but for many other reasons. Eloping was a way for us to focus on each other and really feel and comprehend the fact that we were getting married. We chose to arrive in Banff a couple days prior and even use a couple days after to explore other cities/towns with each other and that’s the beauty of eloping you can celebrate and plan any way you want to. If anything, we are so glad we chose to elope without the obligation of having your traditional wedding. We had such a easy, incredible experience with no distractions, just us committing to each other and embracing every exciting moment that came with our special day! We spent our day adventuring to many different stunning locations with our photographer while truly enjoying the moments and not worrying about a timeline or guests to attend to. Not only do we have our intimate, adventurous wedding experience to remember back on but we also have such effortless, in the moment photos to look back on that hold so many memories in which we couldn’t be any happier! We are so glad things turned out the way they did, and we couldn’t have imagined it happening any other way.
