We are LOVING the soft and vintage colours in these stunning florals. And we cannot stop swooning over this gown. Uniquely, the mixed textures in this wedding dress add perfectly to the timeless, vintage bridal aesthetic.
From the Creative Team
A vintage style photoshoot styled, photographed, and directed by Carmen Li, the owner and designer of Ciel bridal- a fairly new and local wedding dress brand from Edmonton, Alberta. Carmen was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Ever since she was young, she loved working with her hands and being creative. As a self taught makeup artist for over 10 years, she’s also been the go-to gal for makeup to many brides-to-be and for many of her own photoshoots. Graduating with a Fashion Merchandising degree from the University of Alberta, it was her dream to be in the textile and beauty industry.
Ciel Bridal started off as a custom wedding dress company in 2017, and through time, was able to come up with our very own line of dresses in 2020! This shoot was styled with Ciel Bridal’s newest “En Blanc 2021 collection” of wedding dresses. Our model is seen wearing our Blake, which is a short, modern style dress. She is also seen wearing our Ainslay overskirt, which is removable and made with a soft tulle. Delicate and hand-painted 3D floral appliques are also strategically placed all over the skirt. Partnered with OprettyFlorals from Edmonton, a mixture of dried pampas and fresh florals were used to bring out the vintage mood of the shoot.
Thank you for supporting our small, local brand! Also, a big thank you to Oprettyflorals for all the floral arrangements and for our model Jadia for her time and talents. More of our designs can be seen at https://www.cielbridalstudio.com/
