Sweet Light Blues and Blush Make Us Want To Plan The Perfect Garden Wedding

What better way to feel bright and Springy without completing a Spring inspired styled shoot? Part of my inspiration for this shoot was the light blue skies and lovely cherry blossom trees that rose from hibernation in my little quaint neighborhood. The white drapery used represents the fluffy clouds which helps create that overall springtime feel. We wanted to also display a cake that was created by a home baker who also loves the season along with stationary designed to sync with the theme. The vendors involved were so relaxed and offered many creative suggestions so it was an open book styled shoot and changed and modified things as the day went along. I wanted our model to have some features of the Disney Character Mulan, as the blue, pink, and white colours reminded me of the Japanese garden in the movies so we found the perfect person to play the role in the shoot! Her almond shaped eyes and her petite figure melded so well with the entire picture! Overall this shoot was a nice way to open up the doors to Spring and also a great way to lead into Summer.
