Classic White Wedding

Katie and Dan’s wanted their guests to experience a crisp, clean and elegant wedding, so they choose a palette of whites and neutrals for their decor. But not without a little fun – pops of purple were added throughout to give texture and added playfulness to the design of the wedding. Beautifully captured by Emily Exon Photography, Katie carried a perfect bouquet of white roses from Flowers by Janie. Hear more from the couple and meet the entire Creative Team after the jump!

From the couple:

Our wedding was in downtown Calgary where we wanted to host a classic and elegant atmosphere for our guests. We chose white and neutral colours with little pops of purple for our wedding attire and decor to further accentuate a classical elegant look. We planned our wedding for August where we were spoiled with an abundance of sunshine and warmth. When planning our reception we wanted the focus to be about our guests so it was important to us that they were well fed with a traditional Italian meal, paired with great wine in hopes that our cherished friends and family could have a night to remember. Osteria de Medici was our venue and their service and attention to detail was amazing; when one of our guests asked for a speciality cocktail and the bartender didn’t have the ingredients for this particular drink, he left, went to a nearby store and purchased with his own money the necessary ingredients and served the drink to our guest all night long. It’s customer service and kind acts like this that make a difference and that we truly value
