Boudoir can be a little bit intimidating. Or at least the idea of it can be. Some things are meant only for your husband-to-be to see, and getting down to your skivvies in front of a photographer is not on everyone’s Bucket List. But why shouldn’t it be? Many brides are at their most beautiful before their weddings and it has soley to do with that look of love that flushes your cheeks and brightens your eyes.
It takes a certain kind of bond with your photographer to get that look in your eyes. Christy D. Swanberg Photography sees boudoir in a different kind of light – light hearted, sexy, fun. This is about being and feeling incredibly beautiful, in your own eyes. Christy has a wonderful ability to build that bond with clients – because whatever you’re doing, Christy is doing too. And not every boudoir session is the same, because not every bride-to-be is the same. Boudoir photographs (like wedding photographs) are an extension of your personality. Many brides have a vision for how they see this special set of photos and Christy’s primary goal is to help bring that vision. But be forewarned – there are some tough questions you’ve got to answer before the photos are even taken. You’ll have to name things you love about yourself, things other people love about you so Christy can capture the perfect story through your photos.
It’s a full service session that includes your hotel room for the night, hair and make up, jewellery and a props, champagne and a heck of a good time.
