Inspired by romance, drama, and all things delightfully whimsical, our Struck by Cupid styled shoot was a love-filled extravaganza. The shoot featured a stunning bridal couple, dramatic multi-tiered cakes, a “love-drenched” table scape, a live harpist, and a performing ballerina. We embraced a classic, whimsical sweetheart design while weaving in subtle, playful camp elements. It gave Cupid’s traditional imagery a fresh, modern twist. Every aspect of this shoot was curated to create an intimate and theatrical atmosphere. Each frame was visually captivating and emotionally resonant.

Heart of the Performance

At the centre of the concept was Rylee, a professional ballerina, performing in tandem with a fabric-draped, interactive heart installation. Rylee’s movements brought the scene to life, making the installation feel like a living, breathing piece of art. While the ballerina herself was mesmerizing, we enhanced the moment with delicate details: a long, flowing veil, a heart-shaped baton bouquet, a live orchid choker, and a handmade chain headpiece. The addition of Ella on harp elevated the experience even further, creating a live performance imbued with romance and ethereal beauty. It was a perfect complement to the visual storytelling of the shoot.

Couture Details with a Playful Twist

No element was overlooked in this styled shoot. Salted Ivory crafted a bespoke, handcrafted kissing booth, adding a touch of playful interaction to the romantic scene. The couple’s styling balanced elegance and flirtation: the bride’s shimmery, dewy makeup glimmered in the soft light, antique brooches adorned the groom’s suite jacket, and a cascading pink bouquet shaped like a heart brought a dreamy, romantic flourish.

A Table Full of Love

The tablescape was a feast for both the eyes and the imagination. Designed to showcase intricate details for a wedding of this magnitude, it featured sugared fruit, a cheeky Cupid butter sculpture, and draped, ribbon-wrapped bread along the sides. Each detail was thoughtfully curated to evoke love, whimsy, and theatricality, perfectly blending with the overall aesthetic.

Crafting an Immersive Experience

Every element, from the live harp performance to the ballet, the curated wardrobe, and the decadent table details, was intentionally chosen to tell a story. Our goal was to infuse every frame with love, whimsy, and a touch of theatrical drama. With the collaboration of an incredible team of wedding vendors, we were able to bring Cupid’s fantasy wedding aesthetic fully to life, resulting in a styled shoot that feels both intimate and unforgettable.
