Backyard Farm Wedding

An intimate little backyard farm wedding in rural Alberta.
This day was so emotional for many reasons, it was a celebration of life, love, remembrance, and joy.
The support and love these two gave to one another was astounding to witness.

This wedding was initially planned for summer 2022, and after the bride’s father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, they sped the process up so he could be apart of their wedding. The amount of detail and the love poured into every aspect of this wedding was incredible & the fact that this couple had it done within a month was mind blowing.

The bride’s father actually passed the morning of their wedding, and they all decided there was no place they would rather be than at home surrounded by loved one’s celebrating love. We had a sprinkle of rain at the ceremony when the officiant spoke of the bride’s father & everybody knew he was watching this beautiful day from above.
