Our boho and elegant wedding took place at The Local Market in Regina — a venue that perfectly reflected the warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth celebration we dreamed of. Blending elements of elegant, boho, and rustic styles, we created an intimate and unforgettable day surrounded by 100 of our closest family and friends.

From the very beginning, we knew we wanted our wedding to feel like us — relaxed yet sophisticated, intentional but easygoing. Every detail was chosen with care to reflect our personalities and the love we share.

The Aesthetic & Atmosphere

Our colour palette was soft and romantic: dusty sage green, warm neutrals, and pale blush tones set the tone for a fresh yet timeless vibe. The floral arrangements brought that vision to life with a dreamy mix of pampas grass, orchids, roses, and eucalyptus. The blend of textures and tones created an effortlessly beautiful backdrop, making the space feel natural, cozy, and elegant all at once.

One of the most touching elements of the ceremony was having Samantha’s grandmas serve as our “flower grannies.” Watching them walk down the aisle brought smiles and tears — a truly special moment that honoured the generations before us in such a joyful and personal way.

The People Who Made It Special

Our wedding party was small but deeply meaningful. Samantha’s sisters stood by her side, while Cody’s two best friends stood with him. Our niece and nephew added an adorable touch of family love, and Sam’s best friend’s son, Owen, stole hearts as our ring bearer. We loved how every person in our party had a unique role in our lives — it made the day feel even more personal.

The ceremony was filled with emotion and sincerity. We wrote and exchanged heartfelt vows that left not a dry eye in the room. It felt like the truest representation of our relationship and the promises we were making to each other.

Celebrating With Meaningful Touches

We wanted every part of the day to feel joyful, inclusive, and full of personality — and that started with our choreographed first dance! We had so much fun surprising our guests with a playful, well-rehearsed routine that got everyone clapping and cheering.

Throughout the day, we included plenty of thoughtful touches for our guests. From individual charcuterie cups and a champagne wall to a cozy kids’ table and a fun photo booth, we wanted everyone — from youngest to oldest — to feel special and celebrated.

One of the biggest hits of the night? A late-night poutine snack truck that had everyone lining up for seconds!

Honouring Family & Crafting Memories

We included handmade decor pieces that held so much meaning, including a “Generations of Love” display to honour our family legacies. The elegant dessert table offered a sweet ending to the evening, with treats that looked as good as they tasted.

And none of it would be the same without our incredibly talented photographer, who captured every emotion, every laugh, every tear — and all the in-between moments we’ll cherish forever. We’re so grateful to her for giving us the gift of being able to relive this day again and again through her lens.

A Day That Felt Like Us

Looking back, our wedding day was more than we ever imagined — filled with beauty, meaning, and so much love. Every moment was a reflection of who we are as a couple, and having our loved ones there to celebrate with us made it all the more magical.
