From the couple:

“On December 22nd 2019 I married my best friend Igor, became Mrs.Pinheiro, and got to kick long distance in the butt after doing a long distance relationship for a year and a half. In the morning my bridesmaids and I got ready at my house starting with an early 7 am breakfast and then doing hair and makeup. My friend Janelle came over to do my hair and I hired a professional to do mine and my maid of honor Courtney’s makeup. After get getting on our dresses, jewelry, and shoes, my bridesmaids and I headed out the door to do some photos inside the Lee Pavilion at the Citadel Theater. My favorite part of the day was doing the first look, and seeing my husband’s reaction of joy and tears in his eyes. I felt like the most special girl in the entire world. We had a two hour break and then continued photos outside at the Edmonton Country Club. At 4’oclock we said our I do’s while the sun set. I wrote my vows in Portuguese as a surprise for my husband which made a lot of people tear up, including his family who were watching via live stream all the way in Brazil. The reception was a lot of fun and filled with laughter the majority of the night from an incredible dance off, embarrassing stories being told of my childhood during speeches, and the shoe game which we let our bridal party be a part of. Overall Igor and I had an incredible day and both agree that we would not have changed a thing.”
