Calgary is known as the “New West” and we boast some of the most rustic and elegant wedding venues around. Just minutes from the Rocky Mountains many people flock here to host their destination wedding…after all not all destination weddings have to be on a beach! Because of our proximity to the mountains our Springs can be a little unpredictable and sometimes colder than most climates making our location for winter inspired weddings possible long into the Spring Season. We thought (vendors listed below) that we would design an inspiration shoot that transformed the colder Alberta Spring landscape into a cheery, playful Spring inspired reception venue while staying true to the rustic appeal you would expect to find in Alberta. We incorporated bright pops of colour through the linens and florals and made use of a small heritage homestead/barn at the base of Calgary’s Luxury Boutique Hotel, Azuridge Estates. We transformed the little barn into an elegant, spring reception venue that would intimately host your most cherished guests.
