You never know when or where you’re going to meet the love of your life, a statement totally true to Tatyanna and Doug’s love story. This gorgeous couple meet aboard, fell in love and decided to make it official at Sweet Haven Barn inHuxley, Alberta. Photographed by Ever After Weddings, this couple had a vintage inspired wedding with a touch of edge. Tatyanna wore a gorgeous sheath silhouette gown with a lace overlay, and her long blong hair down one shoulder.

Doug and Tatyanna’s wedding was the epitome of romance. Doug and Tat met randomly abroad, as she was travelling Australia; their love was so true, they never separated after that moment. Doug followed Tat back to Canada to begin their forever in our winter wonderland. They chose to tie the knot at a breathtakingly romantic and rustic venue, Sweet Haven Barn, just outside Huxley, AB. The ladies got ready in the lavish bridal suite, and the men dressed in the quaint grooms loft. Their day was full of tiny sentimental details – hand selected gifts for the wedding party and love letters from each other to read beforehand, the wedding party arriving in a trio of classic cars, the bride on the back of a beautiful stallion, making their grand entrance on the back of classic dirt bike, to the bride’s parents gifting a family crest to their new son, and finishing by igniting a name board with flames at dusk, …. every moment was planned and thought out to bring the most joy and celebration to their day! You just know when you are in the presence of real forever love, Doug and Tatyanna had this kind of love in spades ♥️
